Welcome to Ploy
Ploy means ‘gem’ in Thai. We were inspired by the true gems of Japanese and Thai cuisine – the interplay of sweet, sour, salty, spicy and umami flavours; the meticulous preparation of dishes using only the freshest ingredients. By applying these tenets of asian cooking to not-so-asian dishes, we created a new modern asian cuisine. Come ‘ploy’ with us and be dazzled.
Menu
Cooking is all about adding and subtracting. The same can be said of our ever changing menu. Here's a brief preview:
Appetizers
We've always been avid snackers. We also happen to like our drinks - be it a nice bottle of wine, cold beer or our own Ploy drink specials. Irresistible snacks, meet irresistible drinks.
Salads
Our salads are flavorful and substantive enough to become the main course. Each one is paired with a signature sauce that will keep even the most insatiable carnivores coming back for more.
Rice
Rice may be an everyday staple, but ours are far from mundane. Especially with ingredients like squid ink, butterfish and tenderloin beef and kimchee.
Pizzas
Uniquely crispy and thin crusted, it's more 'Ployzza' than pizza.
Pasta
With ingredients like uni, ebiko cream sauce and spicy lamb - This ain't your momma's pasta. Unless your momma reinvented pasta to be modern, distinctive and knock your socks off.
Raw Bar
Each one a Ploy creation, this is where we let fresh flavours shine.
Sushi
Every gem is unique. Likewise, we arrived at our sushi by infusing individual qualities to each one. Better than gems - these you can actually bite into.
Desserts
We are dessert fanatics. So when it comes to desserts, our work (or our chef's) is never done. Decadent offerings like Chocolate Fondant, Red Ruby and our out of this world durian desserts are designed to satisfy the most demanding sweet tooth. You'll find yourself coming back, if even just to have the desserts again.

Ploy is the brainchild of Jared Lim, Asian private equity investor by day, avid food fan by dinner time. Culminating from years of travel, experimentation and unadulterated gluttony, Ploy is a study in modern Asian cuisine. After 6 months of daily food tasting, the results speak for themselves – an entirely built from scratch menu with over 60 offerings, influences that span 4 continents and over 35 new and original sauces.
